An 18-year-old Kings County motorcyclist was airlifted to hospital Sunday after a collision between a car and his motorcycle south of Wolfville.
Kings RCMP were called at 2:20 p.m. to the crash on Greenfield Road.
Police said the motorcyclist was thrown into the woods area near the road. Wolfville firefighters were called to help get the man out of the woods and set up a landing zone for the LifeFlight helicopter.
The man was taken to hospital with serious injuries. The occupants of the car weren't hurt.
The cause of the crash is still under investigation. The road was closed for a time between Ridge Road and White Rock Road while an RCMP traffic analyst worked at the scene.
