Three hurt in Highway 101 crash near Lawrencetown

One person was airlifted to hospital in Halifax, while two other occupants were taken to local hospital.

Three people were taken to hospital after a single vehicle crash on Highway 101 near Lawrencetown, Annapolis County Sunday night.

RCMP spokesman Cpl. Dal Hutchinson said the Toyota Corolla went out of control and flipped onto its roof near Exit 19 around 7:20 p.m.

The 19-year-old woman driving and a 17-year-old girl who was a passenger her were taken to local hospital, while a male passenger was airlifted to hospital in Halifax with serious injuries.

The cause of the crash is still under investigation.
