ISNOR, John Maxwell

ISNOR, John Maxwell - 69 of Lower Sackville passed away August 7th, 2017 at the QE II HSC VG Site. Born in Halifax, he was the son of the late James and Anna (McDonald) Isnor. John worked for the City of Halifax over 30 years. He enjoyed reading, building models watching formula one racing, and was a military history buff. In his younger years, he was a member of the Halifax Rifle (RCAC). John is survived by his wife of 48 years Paulette (Johnson) Isnor; son, John Bradley (Catherine Gorman) , Fall River; daughters, Cavell Marie (Guy) Provencal,  and Tracy Adrienne (Dennis) Andrews, all of Middle Sackville. ; 16 grandchildren, many nieces and nephews; sister, Katherine Ann Isnor, Halifax. He was predeceased by brothers, Barry and James Isnor; sister, Jeannee Barrett; nephew Little Jimmy. Visitation will be held Thursday, August 10 from 6-9 p.m. and Friday 1:30 p.m. until time of service at 2:30 p.m. A reception will follow. All services take place in Atlantic Funeral Home, 125 Sackville Drive. Burial in Pleasant Hill Cemetery. Donations in John’s memory may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Diabetes Association.
